On the 3rd of May 2023, Katsina State AGILE held a sensitization meeting in the Daura Senatorial zone of the State to enlighten traditional and religious leaders on the current level of project implementation.

The leaders were informed about the AGILE Project; its objectives, and their subsequent roles in ensuring the Project's goals and objectives are achieved.

The State's Project Coordinator, Mr.  Mustapha Shehu urged the traditional and religious leaders to use their positions and influence to ensure that adolescent girls in the State access and complete high-quality secondary education, irrespective of their socio-economic status.

 The State Project Coordinator urged them to sensitize their communities on the importance of education.

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, (AGILE) Project is a World Bank assisted project of the Federal Ministry of Education geared at improving secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls aged between 10 and 20. AGILE Project of Federal Ministry of Education
