The Federal Ministry of Education, (FME) in collaboration with the AGILE Project and other development partners, on the 11^th of October, 2023,  joined the rest of the world to commemorate the 2023 International Day of the Girl Child themed: ‘Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership and Wellbeing’.

In attendance were the Minister of State for Education, Hon. Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, Permanent Secretary, (FME), Mr. Andrew, David Adejo; Director, Senior Secondary Education, Hajia Binta Abdulkadir; representatives of the World Bank, the National Project Coordinating Unit (NPCU) of the AGILE Project, development partners, school girls, among others.
