A two-day Capacity Building workshop organised by Red Media Africa for Communication and Social Norms Officers in Kano State

RED Media Africa, the consultant engaged by the National Project Coordinating Unit (NPCU) to implement the National communication campaign organized a two-day capacity-building workshop for Communication and Social Norms officers at the Federal and State levels from the 6 th to 7 th February, 2023 in Kano State. The workshop’s purpose, which is one of the deliverables in the firm’s contract, was to improve the Federal and State teams’ understanding of
Communication and Behavioural Change Campaigns (BCC)/strategies. In addition to the Communication and Social Norms leads, the workshop
had in attendance, the National Project Coordinator, State Project Coordinators, representatives of communication firms engaged by the
States to implement their respective campaigns, and the World Bank Lead on Communication and Social Norms.

The Project’s National Coordinator, Mrs. Amina B. Haruna, giving her Welcome Address at the workshop; the National Coordinator and other members of the NPCU taking notes during the classes.
