The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) State Project Implementing Units (SPIUs) in collaboration with their Implementing Partners (IPs) recently embarked on the Training of Trainers (ToT) in preparation for the implementation of Safe Spaces in AGILE implementing schools.

Similarly, Katsina, Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi, Borno, and Ekiti States have concluded their Training of Trainers (TOT) on Life Skills.

Furthermore, Katsina and Ekiti States have cascaded the training down to the Guidance and Counsellors (G&Cs) and Community Mentors who are the direct implementers of the Safe Space and have subsequently commenced safe space piloting in some selected schools.

The National Project Coordinating Unit (NPCU) was ably represented at some of these training sessions, to provide technical assistance and to ensure quality.
